Virginia’s natural and historic landscapes are unparalleled. They range from the amazing waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay to the beautiful scenic viewsheds of the Blue Ridge Mountains; from the rolling pasturelands of the Piedmont to the rural character of Southside Virginia.
The Virginia League of Conservation Voters Education Fund seeks to preserve Virginia’s treasured landscape for future generations.
Since 2001 we have educated Virginia residents and decision-makers about pressing environmental topics including: land use and conservation, transportation, energy-related issues, and air and water quality.
We seek to engage conservation-minded Virginians in the solutions to our most pressing conservation problems. And we work closely with decision-makers to ensure they have the information they need to best protect our environment.
We also know that a healthy environment and a healthy democracy go hand in hand, which is why we work to register eligible Virginians to vote and ensure robust participation in the democratic process.
Our work is dedicated to preserving the natural landscape we care so deeply about.
