The Virginia League of Conservation Voters Education Fund’s mission is to preserve Virginia’s natural landscape for future generations. We do so by making conservation a top priority with Virginia’s decision-makers and engaging concerned Virginians in conservation policy and the democratic process for the benefit of the Commonwealth’s environment.
In order to shed light on our state’s most pressing environmental topics – land use and conservation, transportation, clean energy, climate change and water quality – we engage directly with conservation-minded Virginians and work closely with decision-makers to ensure they have the information they need to best protect our Commonwealth.
Through boots-on-the-ground canvassing and voter outreach, we empower conservation -minded Virginians by registering them to vote and urging them to make their voice heard at the polls on Election Day.
Through informative public events, as well as direct communication with our members, we educate, engage, and inform Virginians on important conservation priorities across the Commonwealth.
Through our Legislative Retreats, Virginia decision-makers are able to see firsthand how the state policies they enact impact our communities, our environment and our economy.
