Preserving Virginia’s Treasured Landscape

The Virginia League of Conservation Voters Education Fund was founded in 2001 to preserve Virginia’s treasured landscape for future generations.

We seek to engage conservation-minded Virginians in the solutions to our most pressing conservation problems. And we work closely with decision makers to ensure they have the information they need to best protect our environment.

Our Conservation Action Teams seek to recruit, train and engage leaders in communities all across the Commonwealth.

Our Annual Conservation Retreats provide opportunities for Virginia’s decision makers to see first-hand how the state policies they enact impact our communities, our environment and our economy.

Additionally, we work collaboratively with partner organizations to preserve our treasured landscape. Results from those collaborations include maintaining Virginia’s uranium mining ban and pressing forward on Chesapeake Bay restoration efforts.

The Virginia League of Conservation Voters Education Fund is an independent nonprofit organization governed by a Board of Directors. The Education Fund is recognized by the IRS as a charitable organization; therefore contributions are tax deductible as allowed by federal law.
